加州的一场大火，烧出了人类在自然伟力前的渺小。无论贫穷或富贵，面对大自然的怒气，我们都如此无力。家园破碎，生死飘摇，洛杉矶的南开校友们以及当地居民，此时正经历着艰难的时刻……
火灾无情人有情！一方有难八方援！大华府南开校友会呼吁各位校友以及爱心人士伸出援助之手，爱心捐款助力！
最微小的善行，也能为他人的生活增添一抹希望；
为他人执灯者，终会被别人的光芒照亮一方世界！
大华府校友会捐款zelle账户nankaidcgroup@gmail.com，请标注“火灾捐款”。校友会向每位捐助者提供tax deduction certificate，一定把各位的爱心捐助及时地送到受灾校友手中！有意向受灾校友直接捐助的，我们将提供受灾校友信息。校友会还将在美东时间1月17日8:30PM组织有关受灾后如何做税务安排和保险处理，如何通过非盈利组织捐助灾区等讲座：

Nankai Alumni Association of Greater DC (NKAADC) is a non-profit organization in Virginia dedicated to Nankai University and Nankai system of schools alumni community. Our mission is to strengthen the bonds within our alumni network and provide valuable resources and opportunities for professional and personal growth. The alumni association will be funded by membership and donations. The current membership fee is $20 per year which gives members free or discounted access to three activities each year. Members making donations over $500 are granted life-time membership with a personalized engraved crystal award. Membership fee payments and donations can be made here. Your involvement and support are crucial to the success of this non-profit. We encourage you to participate actively and contribute in any way you can. Whether it’s volunteering your time, sharing your expertise, or simply attending events, every bit helps in building a strong and vibrant alumni community.
